Transcatheter Mitral & Tricuspid Therapies (TMTTs) are the future of Edwards – Estimated to be a more than $5 billion opportunity by 2028, Edwards will discuss its multiple transcatheter programs aimed at transforming care for the many patients suffering from mitral and tricuspid regurgitation. Since 2017 Edwards launched already multiple products – transformational therapies in Europe led by its CARDIOBAND, PASCAL and EVOQUE programs. Every patient is different - be an expert on all ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY elements about our PASCAL device / therapy and help many  patients suffering with regurgitation!

The Commercial Field Clinical Specialist Imaging PASCAL is responsible for education physician on all echocardiography aspects and case support in assigned territories / regions.

Requested candidate location in regions: North Germany: Hamburg, Berlin (ideal candidate locations). Travelling in region is requested!

This role is reporting to Commercial Business Unit TMTT Germany (more concretely to Senior Regional Manager TMTT Pascal - Team).

How you will make an impact:

  • Provide education on all aspects of echocardiography, imaging methods required for clinical use including but not limited to intraoperative case coverage and coordinating one-on-one ad hoc training sessions and in-service structured education programs in the Cath Lab
  • Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and hospital staff mainly on all aspects of imaging through conducting and/or coordinating one-on-one ad hoc training sessions and in-service structured education programs on one technology.
  • Provide moderately complex intraprocedural imaging support during beating heart studies for therapies
  • Analyze, summarize, and present clinical baseline, procedural, and follow-up imaging (e.g., CT, echo, MRI, angiography) to provide inputs that support new product and procedure development and to support event investigations
  • Collaborate with HCPs to develop imaging patient selection criteria and screening protocol
  • Train field support team and/or HCPs on cardiac imaging procedures
  • Provide on-site cardiac imaging support and guidance during clinical procedures to ensure optimal imaging during the implantation of transcatheter devices (if certified).
  • Analyze imaging and/or oversee third party image analysis for patient screening and contribute an opinion to the assessment of potential cases
  • Other incidental duties

What you'll need (Required):

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in medical device and/or clinical experience (clinical physiology, echocardiography)
  • Similar Industry certification (Imaging - TTE - transthoracic echocardiogram) or previous edge to edge therapy experience
  • Fluent/Advanced in English and German communicating at professional level (being able to communicate at work; if ready to improve soon, apply!)
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of principles, theories, and concepts relevant to cardiovascular imaging
  • Ability to work in a team environment, fostering collaboration between inter-departmental teams, HCPs and KOLs.
