Job Title: Assistant Client Manager (ACM) - Architecture & Engineering

Job Overview

The Assistant Client Manager (ACM) collaborates closely with the Client Manager (CM) to engage with Architects, Engineers, Designers, and Technicians. This role plays a vital part in maintaining product quality and facilitating effective communication between clients and internal teams, overseeing multiple projects to ensure they meet the established scope and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define the project scope and brief
  • Communicate client specifications and standards
  • Ensure overall project quality control
  • Prepare and manage project files and folders
  • Coordinate architecture and engineering efforts for projects
  • Relay client feedback and adjustments to the team
  • Assist in drafting and executing consultant contracts
  • Liaise with vendors and contractors to ensure accurate information is incorporated into projects
  • Manage quick turnaround client projects and tasks
  • Support the Client Manager with external communications
  • Update spreadsheets as requested by clients
  • Expedite project requests and check vendor statuses
  • Oversee quality control and assurance tasks as needed
  • Foster collaborative relationships with project teams
  • Mentor team members on client standards and methodologies
  • Develop and validate project scope, fees, budgets, and service scopes
  • Maintain timely communication of project information to clients and teams
  • Ensure design intent is executed accurately
  • Strategize document production and track planned sheets for each project phase
  • Ensure construction documentation adheres to quality standards
  • Cultivate positive communication and trust with clients and their representatives

Required Skills

  • Comprehensive understanding of design concepts, trends, construction methodologies, and material applications
  • Proficiency in architectural building systems
  • Familiarity with Quality Assurance and Quality Control policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of building codes and ability to integrate them into technical documentation
  • Strong graphic presentation and design skills
  • Advanced CAD drafting capabilities, with a preference for Revit
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication abilities
  • Strong organizational skills with a deadline-oriented approach
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with project leaders and teams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, interior design, or engineering is preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in the construction industry demonstrating strong organizational skills
