Job Purpose
The Securitization Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day securitization operations, which involves the management and preparation of securitization batches and remittance files, as well as overseeing a team of securitization officers. The Securitization Team Lead will be responsible for timely execution and compliance with securitization partner requirements, such as completeness and compliance of KYC and regulatory documentation. The Team Lead will coordinate with treasury, administrative staff, and securitization partners to facilitate timely payments, ensure operational efficiency, and meet SLAs. Key responsibilities include leading the team in batch preparation, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and fostering collaboration across departments to ensure high quality outputs and effective communication with securitization partners.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage the end-to-end preparation of securitization batch files for submission to securitization partners.Ensure all loan batches are accurate, complete, and prepared in accordance with regulatory and partner requirements.Lead the compilation of KYC, due diligence, and other relevant documents required for securitization and loan sales.Generate detailed payment breakdowns and remittance lists.Coordinate with the treasury team to initiate payment processing requests.Maintain and reconcile securitization documentation, ensuring accurate record-keepingImplement QA processes to maintain high standards in materials and submissions presented to securitization partners.Drive improvements in the efficiency of the securitization process.Act as the main point of contact for securitization partners, addressing queries and requests promptly.Foster strong working relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within partner institutions.Manage and mentor the securitization team, setting clear expectations and monitoring individual and team performance.Professional Qualification and/or Regulatory requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field 3-5 years experience in accounting or finance Experienced using Microsoft Office and Google Suite
