Job Title: Payroll Tax Specialist

Job Description

• Coordinates with key business partners to review and monitor cross-departmental process impact.
• Reviews and analyzes payroll tax procedures; applies continuous improvement methods to streamline processes and mitigate risk.
• Works with federal and state tax agencies, and third parties to resolve client escalations.
• Year-end tasks assistance
• Works IRS notifications and brings to a successful conclusion.
• Internal and external compliance requirements, regulations, and confidentiality provisions for the tax team.
• Assure all client associated Federal, State and Local payroll tax liabilities and associated regulatory tax filings are completed 100% accurately and on time for assigned clients
• Actively participate with the management team in cross-functional business improvement initiatives.
• Work with the with the new tax provider to insure a successful transition.
• Provides and maintains excellent customer service and relationships to clients regarding all tax matters.
  
  

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of payroll tax experience
• Master Tax experience required
• ADP Smart Compliance Tax Experience Preferred
• Multi-Client, Multi-state payroll tax experience
• Advanced Excel skills
