Description
Within this role, you will help create, manage and optimize the data that the retention team needs. You’ll collaborate and work closely with various teams and stakeholders from email developers, data analysts, Business Intelligence teams, and CRM strategists to ensure data requirements including business rules and campaign logic are brought together to deliver the right communications to the right audience at the right time. As the data point person, you will streamline process, increase efficiency of existing queries and help guide future data systems.
Key Responsibilities For Candidate
- You will be using merchant provided connectivity information to configure data pipelines.
- You will be contacting merchants to share connectivity information, understand data definitions, and troubleshoot issues.
- You will be building ETL pipelines to conform merchant provided data to internal standards.
- Optimize SQL queries to run more efficiently
- Own the process in which marketing managers request new data points, cohorts and real time triggers
- Communicate and coordinate with stakeholders regarding status updates, launch confirmations, ETAs, blockers, etc.
- QA to ensure quality standards are met both in the queries we run, as well as debugging issues that arise
- Maintaining APIs to ensure seamless integration and functionality
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- You have experience working directly with customers to share information and solve issues
- You have strong SQL experience
- Knowledge on Python is a plus!
- You have experience or knowledge of APIs
- You have ETL configuration experience
- You have experience working with large data sets to triage issues
- You have experience working in GitHub or other software development tools
- You have 1-3 years of experience
- You have a Bachelor’s Degree
- High attention to detail, ability to work across multiple business units
- High technical aptitude with ability to quickly ramp up against high learning curve
- Deadline oriented
- Ability to collaborate with various teams
- Critical thinker with creative solutions to solve challenges and meet business requirements
