NTT Data's client is currently seeking a Fully Remote RPG Developerto join their team.  

Job Description:
  • To design, develop and maintain software that is built on the IBMi i platform using RPG and SQL languages and procedures. This will include assessing business requirements and translating into effective designs;
  • Producing high quality, standard-compliant code;
  • Collaborating with developers to ensure that changes are coordinated and knowledge is shared to permit more effective platform support;
  • Complying with the use of development standards using for example JIRA for the change management process together with release management procedures;
  • The management of deadlines through collaboration with technical and business teams;
  • Escalating to management platform events that need further focus or resolution.
Experience Required
  • RPG Developer with Health Plan Encounter and 837 expertise
  • a minimum of 5 years in the writing of ILE RPG and RPG Sequel programs and services with at least 2 years conducting development in Financial applications;
  • experience in the writing of applications that use the DB2 400 relational database;
  • a genuine passion for technology and problem solving;
  • good communication skills and the ability to deliver in accordance with deadlines;
  • Experience in the use of the Synon code generator tool and Java would be desirable but not essential.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is $47.52 to $57.50 W2.  This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.

This position is eligible for company benefits that will depend on the nature of the role offered.
