Job description

We’re reinventing the market research industry. Let’s reinvent it together.

At Numerator, we believe tomorrow’s success starts with today’s market intelligence. We empower the world’s leading brands and retailers with unmatched insights into consumer behavior and the influencers that drive it.

Sr. Solutions Analysts are responsible for articulating and demonstrating how Numerator solutions provide visibility, insights, efficiencies, and financial value for emerging brands in the CPG industry. This includes the ability to discuss, collect, and understand the business requirements, determine the optimal solution(s) and approach to meet and exceed these requirements, propose alternative solutions when requirements cannot be fully met, handle objections, demonstrate relevant real-world use cases and advanced product concepts within the solution itself, and estimate and articulate the expected business value resulting from partnering with Numerator.

The Sr. Solutions Analyst will possess knowledge and industry experience upon which to rely not only to solve these complex business issues but also to build credibility with the prospective customer. Ultimately, Sr. Solutions Analysts work with the Sales Directors to drive successful conversion of prospects to customers and engage with existing customers to expand their relationships and maintain a current perspective of industry issues, trends, and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

The Sr. Solutions Analyst is responsible for the following functions pertaining primarily to Numerator’s Insights solutions:

  • Present and demonstrate the Numerator panel data portfolio as the best solution to meet the specific business needs of the Emerging Brands/CPG client, and develop creative project scopes and product demonstrations to action against them
  • Identify prospective customer business questions, solution needs, and how Numerator is uniquely positioned to drive value in these areas
  • Lead scoping calls and guide emerging brand clients with consultative selling
  • Execute feasibility assessment for retailer, brand and category coverage
  • Support ROI analysis to help prospects quantify the value of Numerator solutions
  • Understand common use cases, business challenges, and industry trends
  • Become a trusted business advisor to supported Sales Directors
  • Establish strong rapport with internal cross-functional teams
  • Support the sales team in developing proposals for customers to address their business questions with the appropriate scope
  • Maintain understanding of our data and nuances of our “behind-the-scenes” know-how, providing technical guidance and support to internal teams and customers during the pre-sales process
  • Share product and industry insights with Product Management
  • Partner with the Numerator data team and other functional teams to address and resolve issues, and deliver clear communication back to supported Sales Directors
  • Provide internal knowledge sharing via Solutions team meetings and company meetings
  • Travel, as required, to support the above responsibilities

  • Ability to think strategically about client business issues and design research to address the questions at hand
  • Comfortable facilitating internal and client sessions on strategic business questions and identifying potential solutions with 5-15 people
  • Skilled at developing relationships with cross-functional internal stakeholders to become a trusted and value-added business partner
  • Entrepreneurial focus to thrive within our growth-oriented environment, with a drive to contribute to our growth as a trusted advisor to key accounts
