Sr. Solutions Analysts are responsible for articulating and demonstrating how Numerator solutions provide visibility, insights, efficiencies, and financial value for emerging brands in the CPG industry. This includes the ability to discuss, collect, and understand the business requirements, determine the optimal solution(s) and approach to meet and exceed these requirements, propose alternative solutions when requirements cannot be fully met, handle objections, demonstrate relevant real-world use cases and advanced product concepts within the solution itself, and estimate and articulate the expected business value resulting from partnering with Numerator.
The Sr. Solutions Analyst will possess knowledge and industry experience upon which to rely not only to solve these complex business issues but also to build credibility with the prospective customer. Ultimately, Sr. Solutions Analysts work with the Sales Directors to drive successful conversion of prospects to customers and engage with existing customers to expand their relationships and maintain a current perspective of industry issues, trends, and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
The Sr. Solutions Analyst is responsible for the following functions pertaining primarily to Numerator’s Insights solutions:
Present and demonstrate the Numerator panel data portfolio as the best solution to meet the specific business needs of the Emerging Brands/CPG client, and develop creative project scopes and product demonstrations to action against them
Identify prospective customer business questions, solution needs, and how Numerator is uniquely positioned to drive value in these areas
Lead scoping calls and guide emerging brand clients with consultative selling
Execute feasibility assessment for retailer, brand and category coverage
Support ROI analysis to help prospects quantify the value of Numerator solutions
Understand common use cases, business challenges, and industry trends
Become a trusted business advisor to supported Sales Directors
Establish strong rapport with internal cross-functional teams
Support the sales team in developing proposals for customers to address their business questions with the appropriate scope
Maintain understanding of our data and nuances of our “behind-the-scenes” know-how, providing technical guidance and support to internal teams and customers during the pre-sales process
Share product and industry insights with Product Management
Partner with the Numerator data team and other functional teams to address and resolve issues, and deliver clear communication back to supported Sales Directors
Provide internal knowledge sharing via Solutions team meetings and company meetings
Travel, as required, to support the above responsibilities
What You'll Bring to Numerator
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (Master’s degree a plus)
3+ years of CPG, Retailer, or relevant experience in developing business analytics and insights with a proven track record of success
An understanding of both syndicated and household panel data (NielsenIQ, Circana, NPD and/or SPINS)
Ability to think strategically about client business issues and design research to address the questions at hand
Comfortable facilitating internal and client sessions on strategic business questions and identifying potential solutions with 5-15 people
Skilled at developing relationships with cross-functional internal stakeholders to become a trusted and value-added business partner
