Job Overview

We invite you to join our esteemed organization as a Mortgage Loan Officer, where you will be instrumental in guiding clients towards the ideal mortgage solutions tailored to their needs. In this pivotal role, you will directly report to the Mortgage Sales Manager and benefit from the flexibility of a remote or hybrid work setup, complemented by occasional travel for client consultations and team gatherings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively pursue and engage potential clients for residential mortgage products.
  • Convert both inbound and outbound sales inquiries into successful loan applications.
  • Evaluate clients' financial situations to recommend suitable product and rate options.
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales performance targets.
  • Originate, negotiate, and process residential mortgage loans efficiently.
  • Provide counsel and advice to loan applicants regarding their choices.
  • Gather essential documentation and information from applicants and relevant parties.
  • Communicate interest rates, points, and fees associated with loan offerings.
  • Monitor the progress of loan applications, keeping clients updated.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth loan processing and closing.
  • Address and resolve queries from applicants related to the closing process.
  • Supply real estate professionals with information regarding loan products, pricing, and services.
  • Participate in meetings and presentations to enhance industry knowledge and networking.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed reports and ensure the accuracy of loan files and documentation.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in loan management and negotiation within a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with loan processing guidelines, including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA regulations.
  • Strong command of standard loan practices, relevant documentation, and real estate terminology.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the mortgage marketplace.
  • Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) is preferred.
  • Candidates must reside in California.

Qualifications
