Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Blockchain Security Architect to become an integral part of our Informal Security team. This remote position offers a unique opportunity to drive the development of secure blockchain solutions while operating within the innovative Cosmos ecosystem, leveraging your expertise with frameworks such as CosmosSDK, IBC, and CometBFT.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage comprehensive security audits for clients, guiding a team in establishing audit strategies and conducting thorough threat analyses.
• Execute detailed security assessments of blockchain systems, analyzing architecture, code, and configurations to pinpoint vulnerabilities and risks.
• Provide expert consultation to development teams, offering strategic security recommendations and assisting in the implementation of best practices for blockchain security.
• Stay informed of the latest trends and threats in blockchain security to ensure robust protection for our clients’ systems.
• Participate in security incident response initiatives, conducting investigations and formulating remediation strategies as required.
• Drive the enhancement of internal tools and methodologies related to blockchain security assessments and audits.
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong educational foundation in distributed computing, information security, formal verification, or related fields; a PhD or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Demonstrable experience in complex distributed systems with a focus on design, implementation, or testing.
• Proficiency with the Cosmos ecosystem, particularly regarding app-chain blockchain frameworks; familiarity with programming languages such as Golang, Rust, or Solidity is advantageous.
• Proven leadership skills to effectively manage audit projects from both technical and managerial perspectives.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality, secure solutions, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex security concepts to diverse audiences.

• Degree in a relevant field, with a preference for advanced degrees.
