Job Overview
As a Liens Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our service delivery, working directly with personal injury law firms across the U.S. to manage and resolve medical and insurance liens. Your responsibilities will include expertly handling lien negotiations and efficiently managing related administrative duties to support our clients effectively. Proficiency in both Spanish and English is essential for this role to ensure seamless communication with all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble, organize, and review client medical bills and records specifically related to lien claims.
  • Negotiate lien reductions with healthcare providers, insurance adjusters, and attorneys.
  • Draft and send lien reduction acceptance and disbursement letters.
  • Develop and implement strategies to expedite the settlement of liens.
  • Maintain thorough bilingual communication with all stakeholders, including clients, healthcare providers, and insurance representatives.
  • Perform essential administrative tasks to support case management and ensure the smooth operation of the liens team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or related field.
  • Relevant professional experience in lien negotiation, preferably within the U.S. legal system, with a focus on personal injury cases.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken, is essential.
  • Expert negotiation and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to legal and procedural details.
  • Ability to manage high-volume caseloads and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and capable of quickly adapting to new software.
