Join our team in Leipzig, Erfurt, or Ilmenau or work remotely part-time as a Working Student Technical Documentation (m/f/d).

The Product Management Department at Cuculus is looking for a motivated working student to strengthen our technical documentation team.

What is the role about?

Creating architecture and technical design documentation of our ZONOS IoT Platform.
Working closely with software architects, senior developers, and product managers to build up a standardized feature inventory platform used as a central knowledge base to maintain the product descriptions.
Checking availability and review of feature and functionality descriptions of the ZONOS IoT platform.
Cross-referencing available documentation with results of research for the standardized feature inventory platform.

You fit in with us, ifâ¦

You are currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science or a similar discipline.
You are interested in communication technology, data processing, and critical infrastructure.
You are comfortable working on Linux systems, as well as Python, Java, or C#.
You are proficient in querying databases using SQL and ideally in Oracle and Postgres.
You have played with SOAP/REST APIs, tools like Postman or SOAPUI, and version control systems like SVN, perforce, or Git.
You ideally have experience in Kubernetes, container frameworks like docker, and Kafka.
You know how to use draw.io, Lucidcharts, MS Visio or similar tools to create flow charts, UML diagrams or sequence diagrams.Â
You are fluent in English - speaking German or any other language is always a plus.
