Job description

This is a remote position.

Project Base: 3 months (but there's a chance that it might extend)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Flexible 20 hrs/week during client business hours.
Timezone: Illinois

Job Summary: We are looking for a passionate and motivated Marketing Intern to join our fast-growing startup. This role will give you the opportunity to work on exciting projects, including social media storytelling, content creation, and growth hacking. You will collaborate directly with our founders to drive growth through innovative AI and automation techniques. This internship will focus on social media management, referral programs, and community engagement, along with learning to leverage AI for content automation, AI prompting, and growth hacking tactics.

This is a part-time, three-month internship with the potential to expand, offering hands-on learning with automation and AI growth techniques while developing your marketing and storytelling skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Storytelling Setup: Write engaging and compelling scripts for social media posts across platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
  • Graphics Creation: Design visually appealing graphics for social media posts to support the brand narrative and promotional activities.
  • Social Media & Automation: Create infographics on nutritional tips using automation tools, integrating with AI-driven content creation strategies.
  • Content Calendar: Help draft and plan a content calendar for the "Big Push" over a 6-week period, ensuring alignment with the overall marketing strategy.
  • Repurposing & Evergreen Content: Assist in identifying key content that can be repurposed for future use and help select evergreen content for long-term marketing efforts.
  • B2B Email Sequences: Develop follow-up email sequences for business outreach, including automation using AI tools and email marketing platforms.
  • Retention Campaigns: Support retention efforts by creating promotional campaigns around bonuses and daily active user engagement.
  • Referral Program: Design promotional graphics for affiliates and partners to drive referrals and oversee invitations sent through newsletters and social media channels.
  • Social Media Management: Daily posting and engagement on social media platforms, focusing on Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter. Engage with customers and community members to maintain high interaction levels.
  • Influencer & Partner Outreach: Assist in email outreach campaigns targeting influencers, partners, and potential investors. Build relationships to expand the company’s network.
  • Customer Chat & Community Management: Provide customer support through chat platforms, ensuring the community feels connected and engaged with the brand.
  • Growth Hacking & AI Learning: Gain exposure to growth hacking techniques, including AI-driven content generation (e.g., LLM prompting and chaining), automation workflows, and robotic process automation (RPA) for scaling marketing efforts.

In the first 3 days, expect to
:
  • Onboard and integrate into the team, familiarizing yourself with the marketing workflows and automation tools.
  • Learn our brand voice and understand the storytelling setup for social media.
  • Begin working on drafts for scripts and graphics for the next social media push.
In the first 3 weeks, expect to:
  • Take ownership of the daily social media promotion, experimenting with AI tools to create and automate content.
  • Draft a content calendar for the upcoming 6-week push and start the selection of evergreen content.
  • Create infographics and repurposed content for cross-channel marketing efforts.
In the first 3 months, expect to:
  • Fully execute email sequences, refine graphics for the referral program, and help launch an automated outreach initiative.
  • Learn and implement growth hacking tactics in collaboration with the business development team.
  • Deliver successful AI-driven content automation strategies and promotional campaigns for affiliates.


Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Strong interest in Marketing, AI, automation, and growth hacking techniques, with a desire to learn prompting and chaining for marketing uses.
  • Some experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) and familiarity with content automation platforms.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills with a focus on storytelling.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and manage various projects concurrently.
  • Self-motivated and driven to innovate through learning and application of new tools.
  • Basic understanding of social media marketing and community management.

Nice to have:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
