Investment Banking Analyst - Private Equity

Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Investment Banking Analyst with 1-2 years of relevant experience in financial modeling and equity research. This remote role will involve occasional travel within India to engage with clients and investors. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of businesses, financial statements, and possess excellent communication and writing skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed financial modeling and equity research for clients in traditional sectors.
  

• Assist in preparing investment memorandums, pitch books, and other client presentations.
  

• Analyse company financials, industry trends, and market conditions to support investment decision-making.
  

• Collaborate with senior team members on structuring, negotiating, and executing transactions.
  

• Communicate effectively with clients and investors to present findings and recommendations.
  

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and regulatory changes affecting our clients.
  

• Travel occasionally to meet with clients and investors for due diligence and project meetings.
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Qualification: Graduates (min. 2-3 years of experience), Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA (Finance/Economics), or CFA (L1 or L2).
  

• Experience: 1-2 years in a similar role involving financial modeling, equity research, or investment banking.
  

• Strong understanding of business operations and financial statements.
  

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.
  

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
  

• Ability to work independently and proactively in a remote setup while meeting deadlines.
