Job Overview

We are actively seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to spearhead organizational change management (OCM) and process improvement projects for our esteemed federal government clientele. This pivotal role focuses on devising and executing strategic initiatives designed to optimize operations, elevate organizational effectiveness, and facilitate comprehensive business transformation. You will lead cross-disciplinary teams, direct business process reengineering efforts, and mentor clients through extensive change management endeavors aimed at refining operational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Leadership: Oversee and direct OCM and process improvement programs spanning various departments and projects, ensuring they align with overarching business objectives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and sustain strong partnerships with senior stakeholders, articulating project objectives, advancements, and challenges with clarity and precision.
  • Change Management Strategy: Formulate and execute detailed change management plans, encompassing change readiness evaluations, communication strategies, human capital assessments, and training initiatives.
  • Process Improvement: Assess current client operations, pinpoint inefficiencies, and design innovative solutions to enhance performance.
  • Team Management: Lead a diverse team of consultants, analysts, and program personnel, ensuring the timely achievement of program objectives and milestones.
  • Risk Management: Recognize potential risks and devise mitigation strategies to guarantee seamless execution of improvement initiatives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of ongoing enhancement by identifying continual opportunities for process improvement.
  • Client Engagement: Act as the primary liaison for client inquiries and escalations, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction throughout project execution.

Required Skills

  • Proven expertise in managing extensive OCM initiatives.
  • Strong grasp of business process reengineering (BPR) methodologies and tools.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication capabilities.
  • Strong leadership and team management proficiencies.
  • Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks in both organizational change and process improvement contexts.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Public Trust clearance or the ability to secure one.
  • Experience collaborating with federal agencies, particularly in process optimization and organizational transformations.
  • Hands-on experience in Lean Six Sigma or comparable process improvement methodologies.
  • U.S. citizenship or Green Card required.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years in program management with a significant emphasis on OCM and process improvement, preferably within the federal government or public sector.
  • Bachelor's degree required; a Master's degree in business, organizational development, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification is mandated.
  • Prosci, CCMP, or other Change Management certifications are highly desirable.
  • PMP or PgMP certification is also a prerequisite.
