Job Title: Implementation Manager - Ohio or Michigan-Based - Remote

Job Overview

We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Implementation Manager to become an integral part of our team, acting as a catalyst for change! In this pivotal role, you will serve as the essential bridge between our clients and our internal teams as we craft a bespoke enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform. Your extensive knowledge will be crucial in steering product development, and you will engage collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that our clients’ visions are brought to fruition through this advanced technological initiative.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients to identify and analyze vital business requirements, assisting the Quality Assurance team and leading the discovery phase.
  • Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for ERP platform development, facilitating the ideation process and delivering critical performance metrics.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across both organizations to synchronize key priorities and enhance implementation effectiveness.
  • Oversee project health, performance, and key performance indicators (KPIs); address risks; ensure timely execution; and achieve high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Provide consistent project status updates, proactively identifying obstacles and formulating effective contingency strategies.
  • Discover opportunities to enhance our product offerings and enrich the overall customer experience.
  • Develop and manage the product roadmap in collaboration with the Product Manager, ensuring timely and cost-efficient feature delivery.
  • Facilitate the integration of the ERP with existing legacy software systems.
  • Design workflow redesigns, training resources, and supplementary documentation to guarantee seamless product deployment.
  • Create and execute a comprehensive go-live launch strategy, inclusive of training and continuous support.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary.

Required Skills

  • Over 10 years of professional experience in program and project management, including team leadership and cross-functional collaboration in intricate environments.
  • Experience in the automotive sector or similar industries, with a strong proficiency in ERP systems is highly valued.
  • Proven success in program and portfolio management, with a focus on engaging executive stakeholders.
  • Background in management consulting or a comparable role is advantageous.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities with a talent for effectively managing competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated capability to lead and mentor cross-functional project teams towards achieving goals.

Compensation And Benefits

  • This is a long-term, 1099 hourly position with an anticipated duration of over one year.
  • Competitive compensation of up to $80 per hour, commensurate with experience.
  • Flexible remote working arrangements, with occasional travel to Michigan required.
