Job Title: Accounting Manager (Hybrid) - Remote | WFH

Job Overview

We are on the lookout for a meticulous and driven Accounting Manager to join our dynamic non-profit organization, dedicated to Real Estate and Development. This is a permanent, hybrid position that grants the flexibility of remote work while also allowing for occasional on-site collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily functions of the accounting department, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, payroll, budgeting, and cash forecasting.
• Conduct thorough analysis of accounting data to generate accurate financial reports or statements.
• Establish and enforce sound accounting policies, methods, and principles.
• Facilitate annual audits and ensure adherence to accounting standards.
• Recommend enhancements to systems and procedures, initiating corrective actions when necessary.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions and compliance activities.
• Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives to aid in strategic financial planning.
  
  

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Demonstrated experience in budgeting, financial planning, and the preparation of financial statements.
• Proven ability to manage accounts and perform account reconciliations effectively.
• Exceptional leadership skills with a focus on driving results.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, exercising sound judgment in decision-making.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High integrity and dependability, with a results-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years in a managerial accounting role is essential.
• CPA or CMA certification is preferred.

Compensation And Benefits

Salary Range: \(90,000 - \)130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
