Remote Building Enclosures Project Manager

Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Project Manager with a robust engineering or architectural background, particularly in building enclosure projects. This role, based in our Glastonbury office, presents a unique opportunity to join a prestigious national firm that has garnered a reputation for excellence over its 60 years in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead a diverse array of projects related to the assessment, design, and construction of building enclosures, including but not limited to roofs, façades, fenestrations, and waterproofing.
• Ensure project assignments are completed on time by effectively coordinating team efforts.
• Establish and enforce quality control protocols throughout the project lifecycle.
• Generate essential project documentation, such as construction drawings, technical reports, and cost estimates.
• Mentor and support the professional development of junior staff members, enhancing their skills and contributions to the team.
• Aid in the preparation of project proposals and contribute to business development initiatives.
• Act as a representative of our team during client meetings, ensuring effective communication and relationship building.
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong project management capabilities, complemented by excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software, including AutoCAD, MS Office, Revit, and Bluebeam Revu.
• Capacity to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a design team.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Architectural Engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience specializing in building enclosure renovations and rehabilitations.
• Possession of a Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Registered Architect (R.A.) license is mandatory.
