Financial Analyst
Omaha, NE (onsite)
6+Month Contract

The Financial Analyst is responsible for compiling and preparing financial reports, including monthly forecasts, quarterly estimates, and a ten-year plan. This role provides variance analysis and serves as a liaison between Operations' management and finance teams.

Responsibilities

Compile and prepare financial reports for monthly forecasts, quarterly estimates, and a ten-year financial plan.
Provide concise variance analysis of actual performance against plans, forecasts, and prior periods.
Liaison with regional and department management, finance, and accounting staff.
Collaborate with field analysts for financial analysis.
Develop profit and loss statements, cash flow statements, and manage accounts receivable.
Support special projects and financial analysis as required.
Provide technical input for project planning and contribute to cash flow and profit improvement strategies.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
2+ years of experience in financial accounting, financial planning, finance, or related fields.
Strong understanding of financial statements and modeling.
Proficient in Excel for financial modeling; knowledge of Access, Oracle, and PowerPoint.
Ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
Strong communication skills and ability to interact with all management levels.
Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
Periodic overtime may be required.
