Recurly is a leading subscription and revenue recognition management platform at the forefront of the booming “subscription economy”. We’re currently looking for an experienced Account Executive to continue our growth in the EMEA region. The Account Executive needs to  be a hunter who can identify and build relationships with prospects, take a consultative approach to selling and manage deals end-to-end.

  • Responsibilities
  • Source and create new opportunities - this is a new business role!
  • Create and manage a pipeline of qualified prospects sufficient to meet quarterly/annual quota requirements
  • Manage sales opportunities from beginning to end - identifying and qualifying prospects, aligning Recurly’s value with prospect needs, negotiating and closing deals
  • Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of Recurly’s product, technology, competitors and industry trends
  • Work closely with supporting functions including Marketing, SDRs, Customer Success, Partner Team and Professional Services

  • Requirements
  • Natural curiosity and the desire to win together with our customers
  • 6+ years of experience in a quota carrying sales role selling software or cloud based applications
  • Proven experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles- demonstrated ownership of all aspects of territory management and pipeline generation and selling to multiple constituents in the same cycle.
  • A track record of success in driving consistent activity, pipeline development and quota achievement
  • Experience in determining customer requirements and presenting appropriate solutions
  • Proactive, independent thinker with high energy/positive attitude
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced startup environment
  • “Roll up your sleeves attitude” and willingness to be a relentless collaborator, excellent teammate and process innovator
  • Desire to never stop learning or growing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
  • BA/BS degree or relevant experience
