Luxury Handbag Authentication Specialists

eBay is hiring a team of luxury handbag authenticators based in Las Vegas. The right candidates will have experience detecting counterfeits and know the indicators to confirm an item’s authenticity. While a multi-brand background is preferred, brand specialists will be considered. Alternatively, those with a proven background in luxury retail or resale will be considered if they can demonstrate an expert level of product/brand knowledge.

You Will:

• Evaluate products from major fashion brands to ensure their authenticity

• Perform an inspection to confirm the item’s description and condition are consistent

• Report counterfeit items with succinct and specific findings

• Stay proficient on current brand trends & developments

• Be comfortable in a fast-paced facility environment

• Achieve quality metrics and efficiency goals daily

• Proactively connect with managers about daily activities and obstacles

• Willingness to work in a warehouse environment

You Have:

• 2 - 5+ years of prior handbag authentication experience

• You are a fashion specialist and have a strong sense of the category

• Analytical and problem-solving skills ability to research and address concerns

• Flexibility to evolving work-flows and responsibilities

• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

• Ability to work autonomously

• Capacity to work on your feet for several hours & lift 30 lbs as needed.

• Knowledge of standard operating systems, word processing, spreadsheets, Slack, etc.
