We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Software Engineering to lead the design, development and delivery of platform capabilities on ServiceNow. This role will focus on creating extensible and reusable frameworks, libraries and modules the product teams can seamlessly consume and implement.   As an key technical leader, you will work closely with product, architecture, and engineering teams to ensure scalable solutions that meet business needs.   

 

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of platform engineering on ServiceNow, strong leadership skills and the ability to foster collaboration between multiple teamsIf you are passionate about building robust, reusable components that empower innovation, this is the role for you.   

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and manage engineering teams in building ServiceNow platform capabilities that are reusable, modular, and scalable 
  • Drive the architecture, design and development of core features and framework on the ServiceNow platform.  
  • Collaborate with product managers and other engineering leaders to align platform solutions with business requirements 
  • Guide functional QA efforts on platform products showcasing incremental improvement each sprint 
  • Meticulously set and monitor team member goals 
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes, tooling and technical debt management.   
  • Thinking outside the box and innovate processes, technology, and frameworks to transform Nuvolo Technologies platform level software portfolio 
  • Hands on experience leading a team of engineers, designing solutions to solve complex business needs (80% leading, 20% coding/experimenting) 
  • ServiceNow Scoped Application development designing, building and maintaining extensible and scalable solutions to propel all our product lines forward 
  • Occasionally performing code reviews of other team members to ensure correctness and improve code quality 
  • Establish best practices and standards for coding, configuration management, and release pipelines on ServiceNow

Required  Qualifications: 

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 4 years in a leadership role 
  • Proven experience with ServiceNow platform development 
  • Expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting (client/server side) and integration methods (REST/SOAP) 
  • Solid knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines (Azure), and software release management process(es) 
  • Demonstrated success in delivering scalable ServiceNow solutions while working in a fast paced environment 
  • Comprehensive Knowledge and Experience in solutioning, writing, testing, and debugging code/processes for Business/Scoped Application Development  
  • Experience with Process, Technical, End-user, and Software Documentation & Technical Writing 
  • Experience with the application development lifecycle process based on SCRUM, including requirement analysis, quality assurance, design, scheduling, implementation, issue tracking, version control and deployment 


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with ITSM, ITOM, and other ServiceNow modules is a plus. 
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) and enterprise architecture. 
  • Knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban) and experience driving agile adoption. 
  • Proven ability to manage distributed or remote engineering teams. 
  • ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD) 
  • Exceptional Client Service and Interpersonal Skills

The salary range for this position is $175,000-$195,000 base salary plus bonus. Proposed salary for the selected candidate will depend on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market requirements, experience, training, and education.
