Job description

Overview:

We are seeking an accomplished and results-driven Senior Business Development Executive to lead our strategic growth initiatives within the safety and industrial supplies sector. This individual will play a critical role in driving top-line sales, expanding market share, and fostering strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in business development, a deep understanding of the safety and industrial supply landscape, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.

CORE RESPONSIBITLIES include the following and all other duties assigned:

  • Strategic Sales Growth: Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve revenue and growth objectives. Identify new business opportunities, expand existing accounts, and penetrate new markets within the safety and industrial supply industry.
  • Customer Acquisition: Lead efforts to acquire high-value customers by establishing and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers in target industries.
  • Market Expansion: Analyze market trends and competitive dynamics to identify growth opportunities. Work closely with internal teams to align product offerings and solutions with customer needs and market demands.
  • Sales Leadership: Drive the sales process from prospecting to closing, ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets and revenue growth.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Provide regular updates to senior management on sales performance, market insights, and forecasts. Use data-driven insights to refine business development strategies and improve overall effectiveness.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience: Minimum 10+ years of proven success in business development, preferably within the safety and industrial supply industry or related sectors.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the safety and industrial supply market, including key trends, customer needs, solutions, and competitive landscape.
  • Track Record: Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team collaboration skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive results.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement innovative sales strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior executives and key stakeholders.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Location: Remote

Pay Range: $85k-$98k plus commission

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and, in some instances, may include education, skills, work experience and certifications. You may also be eligible to participate in an annual incentive bonus. An incentive bonus, if any, depends on various factors such as organizational performance.
