About the Team

The conference content team research, create and deliver agendas for 8 to 10 industry leading events around the world each year. Events range from 200 up to over 100,000 attendees and range in complexity and expectations. The delivery and organisation of these events is crucial to the attendee, exhibitor and speaker experience. The conference content team plays a major role in delivering the GSMA’s premium portfolio of events. 

The team environment ranges from working with a small team on smaller events, to working with 30 to 40 people on larger events.

About the Role

The role of Conference Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for keeping the team of conference content managers ticking. A key link between the content and production team, this role will be responsible for ensuring the team are on track to meet event deadlines, reporting on the latest stats, managing speaker logistics, Content Management Systems (CMS) across all events, speaker enquiries and communication pre and post event. This is a hands-on role which will suit someone who is highly organised with attention to detail, excellent at Excel and enjoys being part of a team who work hard but always with a smile. 

About You

•    You have a good understanding of Excel - experience in CMS a big plus
•    You will be deadline driven with an eye for detail
•    You have the ability to remain calm under pressure 
•    You will be highly organised and able to juggle multiple projects 
•    You enjoy events ensuring a high-quality delivery of our conferences onsite
•    You will be a real team player with a great sense of humour!
