Job description

Together with more than 300 colleagues from 40 nationalities, we enable EV drivers around Europe to fast-charge their vehicle with green energy and lead the way in making mobility sustainable. In this role you will drive the growth of our charging locations, as our goal is a European network of 1,000 fast charging stations on prime locations. Fastned is a fast growing, listed scaleup company and is currently active in nine countries (head office in Amsterdam and offices in Belgium, Germany, the UK, France, Switzerland, Spain, Italy and Denmark).

Your role

As Expansion Manager, you will join our Swiss Network Expansion team to drive Fastned's growth and contribute to our mission “Freedom to the Electric Driver”. Together with a highly skilled team, you will help to strengthen Fastned’s position as a leading charging provider. You will support the expansion strategy and deliver on our expansion targets in Switzerland by securing new locations: from scouting and identifying suitable sites, developing new business relationships to negotiating and signing contracts. You will be a part of our Swiss Expansion team and work closely with a large team of experts: architects, construction managers and data intelligence team.


You develop external real estate relationships to expand our network, such as land owners, development companies and retailers to enable the development of new locations. You will oversee and lead key real estate transactions and negotiations, embodying Fastned's vision and mission. You will support and oversee the development of the acquired sites from signing until opening of the charging station.

This role will be mainly remote in your focus region, with regular travel to the Fastned office in Zurich. You will report directly to the Expansion Lead Switzerland and work as part of the bigger, international Network Development team spread over 9 countries.
