Data Scientist plays a crucial role in organizations by overseeing the collection, storage, and interpretation of data. Activities are traditional machine learning focused, with classification programs, understanding statistical analysis, data mining, programming, problem-solving, and predictive modeling, with a good understanding of algorithms.
Must Have:
• Experience and expertise in applying Data Science for Machine Learning, Classification, and Explainability of ML models;
• Coding experience and expertise in Python/Golang;
• Searching through large datasets to extract meaningful information;
• Understanding and ability to interact with data engineering processes and tools, such as Spark/PySpark;
• Experience in transfer of data into formats suitable for analysis;
• Correlating similar data points to find actionable insights;
• Ability to provide explainability to business stakeholders and audience;
• Writing reports and presentations outlining business predictions or proposals based on data analysis;
• Experience in supporting productionalization of produced models.
Nice to Have/additional skills
• Data Scientists closely collaborate with software engineers to integrate data science solutions into products and ensure that data-driven features enhance user experiences;
• Researching new technologies and techniques to enhance existing data processes;
• Monitoring model performance in production and suggesting improvements;
• Cloud Experience: Azure, GCP or AWS.
