The Global Digital Hub has newly been established within Roche Services & Solutions Center. Our main purpose is to strengthen the digital capabilities of Roche globally by supporting central initiatives with Social Media Management, Brand Support, Digital Publishing Services, Marketing Automation, Copywriting and Creative Design.
The Opportunity:
The Business Support Expert acts as a product owner of a dedicated squad within the Digital Marketing Content ART that is running the One Web Presence project with the scope of the diagnostics.roche.com website and the respective microsites. The Business Support Expert is responsible for identifying and prioritizing operational changes (including business relevant system configurations) and fixes. The role is connected to respective product development, and covers many aspects such as prioritizing team backlog and/or contributing to the Product Vision, Roadmap, and/or content presentations, and/or preparing and running Program Increment (PI) planning to deliver the highest business impact. The role mentors junior colleagues and serves as an advocate for team goals, successes, and gaps. This is a fixed-term opportunity for 2 years. In this position you will be focusing on:
Leading high impact global digital projects for digital tool implementation and development
Regular refinement sessions with the team and maintaining the team backlog: Creation & maintenance of user stories in the backlog; Prioritization of user stories within the backlog and the sprint backlog; Providing clarifications necessary to assist the team with story estimates and sequencing; Discussion of dependencies with other Product Owners and maintain dependencies in ServiceNow
Assigning user stories to features/enablers, holding regular program backlog refinement sessions with product managers and/or system architects so a breakdown into stories can happen
Reviewing and contributing to the product vision & roadmap and ensuring that user stories are following the team's definition of ready and responsible for proper data quality
Understanding the business partners’ and stakeholders’ preferences and consulting, recommending, developing solutions to reach goals.
Who you are:
You have 5+ years of digital marketing/technology experience; preferably in a global environment with an established track record of influencing processes development in the area of own expertise.
You are a forward thinking professional, with excellent understanding of marketing, sales and service ecosystems, including technical specification requirements and business processes.
You have Agile (lean, scrum, SaFe 5.1) mindset with demonstrated capability to dramatically simplify and prioritize is preferred but not required.
You have the ability to collaborate and work under pressure in a fast-paced, global, matrix organization, managing sometimes conflicting priorities, interests, and timelines.
You have an analytical mindset combined with strategic thinking, with the ability to balance between short and long-term goals in alignment with Business (affiliates, region, BA) and IT stakeholders.
