This is a remote position in the U.S. with occasional travel to Nashville for in-person team gatherings. #LI-Remote 

 

 

Responsibilities:
  • Lives out Lifeway’s mission and values, showing deep commitment to Kingdom work
  • Implement and administer job pricing policies and compensation practices.
  • Manage all aspects of base and variable pay programs, including job market pricing studies, bonus programs, and annual incentive plans.
  • Build and maintain pay structures, job grades, and salary ranges.
  • Provide expert guidance to managers on compensation-related matters.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders on compensation projects.
  • Monitor and analyze total rewards trends, recommending improvements.
  • Work with HR Technology to ensure the HR system (currently PeopleSoft) meets compensation needs and
  • integrates with market pricing software.
  • Support performance management and development processes.
  • Conduct audits to ensure proper job classification and regulatory compliance.
  • Stay informed of compensation-related regulations to mitigate organizational risk.
  • Occasional travel, sometimes overnight
Qualifications:

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, I/O Psychology, or a related discipline Master’s degree, preferred

 

Knowledge, Skills, & Experience, required

 

  • 3+ years of experience in compensation, including base and variable pay programs
  • 3+ years of progressive HR experience
  • Strong knowledge of compensation and Total Rewards practices.
  • Familiarity with employment, wage, and hour laws.
  • Technically adept, with experience in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
  • Preferred experience with PeopleSoft and CompAnalyst.
  • Expertise in Excel, PowerPoint, and completing job survey instruments.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills with the ability to partner across teams and business leaders.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

Actively involved in an evangelical Christian church

 

Knowledge, Skills, & Experience, preferred

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Global Remuneration Professional (GRP), or related certification (in process or earned)
  • Experience with internal/external consulting, organizational change, training, benefits, and performance management
