We are growing fast, and we are now looking for a Sales Manager and this role will be responsible for the success of Wati’s sales team by:

  • Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
  • Managing recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives

This is a highly cross-functional role and requires collaboration with Product, Customer Success, Customer Support, and Marketing.

What you will be doing:

  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the inbound India/ SEA/ HK sales team at Wati
  • Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives (SDRs, AEs, Presales)
  • Build the outbound motion and teams in India and SEA/HK 
  • Have a good weekly operating rigor and present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team on a weekly basis
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
  • Work closely with the sales ops team and provide direction on CRM set-up and build playbooks for SDRs and AEs
  • Work closely with Marketing and set up a periodic cadence to discuss demand gen strategies and sales enablement

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a technical discipline, or equivalent. A Master’s degree/MBA is a plus 
  • Previous leadership role at a high-growth software SaaS organization
  • 8+ years of leadership experience in Sales
  • Executive presence, but not afraid to get your hands dirty in the detail
  • An enthusiastic and creative leader with the ability to inspire others 
  • Strong empathy for customers AND bias to action
  • Analytical and process-oriented mindset 
  • Curiosity and willingness to serve and solve customer challenges 
  • Strong data-driven decision-making skills
