Job Description

To support our extraordinary GSS team (Global Service Solution) in winning new business relating to forward logistics, postponement, direct order fulfilment and aftermarket / circular economy solutions targeting the Medical field, we’re looking to add a Senior Manager - Business Development located in Bangalore or Chennai.

Here is a glimpse of what you will do:

  • Develop and / or leverage existing relationships with executives from key target customers and new prospects to drive business wins
  • Analyze and understand customers’ business objectives, supply chain challenges, and global / India expansion strategies and align Flex resources and solutions to address their supply chain goals
  • Assist other sales and account managers in the development and execution of product roadmaps and act as a focal point in delivering Flex’s solutions which include concept development and supply chain/logistics business modelling relating to the Medical / Health Solutions target customers

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A certain track record of years of progressively advancing account management and/or business development experience in a service supply chain / aftermarket role
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of global supply chain business models as it relates to forward, reverse logistics and Circular Economy solutions.
  • Prior experience in health solutions / medical devices is required
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully influence senior level management, executives and key clients.
  • Knowledge of Strategic Selling techniques
  • Understanding of key financial metrics and capability to read P&L, balance sheets, ROI indicators,
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Flexibility to travel domestically within India and potentially internationally as well up to ~25% of the time

Here are a few of our preferred experiences:

  • Experience in the Medical Device aftermarket services, supply chain and logistics areas would be an advantage
  • A good understanding of Medical Device manufacturing and service as it relates to the Indian market
  • Knowledge of India medical regulatory frameworks, compliance requirements and quality systems
  • Prior experience in a multinational environment and strong intercultural skills
