The Leader, Strategic Workforce Planning will develop and implement a comprehensive enterprise-wide workforce planning strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives and growth projections. This practiced expert will collect, analyze, and interpret workforce data, enabling informed decision-making related to the data-driven, forward-thinking placement and acquisition of Talent (right people in the right place, at the right time). This is an individual contributor, Talent focused role embedded within the Organizational Effectiveness team and the broader Talent Management function.

 

This role can be 100% remote with location being flexible. Global travel may be required at less than 10% and will vary depending upon timing of projects and business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as Workforce Planning subject matter expert providing knowledge, skills, and expertise needed to meet the people/talent demands of the overall organization (global - operating in 200+ countries with 70,000 colleagues)
  • Drives first-time implementation and alignment of strategic organizational people plans by understanding requirements,  drivers, and future organizational trends / objectives.
  • PHASE 1 – Support our Operating Units to implement a model for strategic Workforce Planning for front-line labor; this group represents a significant portion of our workforce, those that operate hands-on with our products and customers each day.
  • PHASE 2 – Support our Corporate & Functions to implement strategic Workforce Planning for our enabling functions (i.e. Finance, Technology, etc.); this will include both short and long-term plans including consideration for integrated/ongoing transformation.
  • Partners with adjacent team members such as Organizational Design, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, HR Reporting and Finance to ensure alignment with the forward-looking plans to as well as the ability to deliver.
  • Establishes and conducts regular reporting in support of a data-driven workforce plan. Provides updates to senior leadership on workforce planning activities, achievements, and challenges.
  • Develops tools and resources to help instill and enhance a strategic people planning mindset across the global organization.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience with Workforce Planning role, preferably within a complex, multi-regional global organization.
  • Prior experience with and a passion for program establishment is a must.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science/analytics is strongly preferred.
  • Strong program management and planning experience
  • Strong analytical skills, with a passion for working with large complex data sets, with a particular emphasis on predictive modeling and best-in-class associated technology/tools.
  • ·Highly collaborative with an ability to establish credibility in order to implement change, particularly in thinking toward the future in planning for the talent needs of the organization (proactive planning for talent as opposed to reactive).
  • Superior communication and presentation skills with an ability to communicate at the executive level.
