Deskside Support Specialist
Pasadena, CA(onsite)

Summary: With 8 years of experience in providing deskside support, this role focuses on troubleshooting, maintaining user satisfaction, and ensuring timely resolution of technical issues. The candidate must be proficient in Windows OS and Microsoft Office products, and have experience with Windows 10 and Windows 8 support.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide deskside support for Windows 10 and Windows 8 environments.
  • Troubleshoot software and network issues, ensuring swift issue resolution.
  • Manage user issues with a focus on delivering solutions within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Escalate unresolved issues and collaborate with expert teams to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office products.
  • Coordinate vendor support when necessary to handle complex hardware/software issues.
  • Perform initial assessments of support calls to determine urgency and business impact.
  • Utilize remote tools for diagnostics and troubleshooting.
  • Remain flexible with shift work, providing consistent support across various time zones.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • 8 years of experience in deskside support.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS (W10 and W8).
