Job Description

We are seeking an energetic and collaborative person to join the R&D IT Product organization as a Product Analyst in the Composition of Matter Product Line. In this role, you will be responsible for the lifecycle of digital solutions that help scientists aggregate R&D information into knowledge assets that facilitate creation of control strategies, decision making, and technology transfers of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.  The Product Analyst works on cross-functional teams that bring together science, technologies, capabilities, and talent to create products that deliver high impact business value, insight, and a fantastic user experience to scientists throughout the life cycle of the solution.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • maintain assigned applications as technical owner throughout their lifecycles

  • develop a sufficient level of relevant scientific & technology domain knowledge to successfully partner with scientific teammates

  • know the associated user base and their challenges as well as they do

  • understand the external landscape and make comparisons that help make product decisions

  • collaborate with a Product Manager to establish objectives and overall product strategy

  • execute assigned work in the backlog including product discovery, process mapping, and solution delivery

Requirements:

  • Education - Minimum B.A./B.S. in a scientific discipline such as engineering, biology, or chemistry or a technical discipline such as computer science

  • Experience - Minimum 3 years professional experience working in the life sciences as a scientist or as a technologist working with scientists on teams

  • Leadership – Prior accountability for achieving project outcomes through a direct or indirect team leadership role

  • Communications – excellent oral and written communication skills within cross-functional teams

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, ability to work in matrixed environments, eagerness to learn, and drive for data-driven decision making

  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Agile methodologies (scrum, Kanban etc.), business process mapping, and contributing to solution design

  • Hands on software programming skill sets a plus

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Expected US salary range:

$111,400.00 - $175,300.00
