Xpressdocs is looking for a Scrum Master to spearhead the adoption of Agile methodologies, fostering a Lean-Agile culture within the technology teams.  Your role involves facilitating Scrum ceremonies, enhancing team decision-making processes, and resolving conflicts.  By assessing and coaching the teams towards greater maturity, you will also facilitate inter-team communications and support metric-driven decision-making for effective capacity planning.  Your leadership will nurture an environment that values fun, collaboration, open communication, and customer focus.

In this position, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Agile Coaching: Guide teams on Agile values, enhancing their practices and understanding of Agile and Scaled Agile frameworks.
• Training Leadership: Initiate and conduct training on Agile methodologies for new team members to standardize practices across teams.
• Scrum Facilitation: Manage logistics for Scrum events and ensure active team participation in Daily Scrums, Sprint Planning, Refinements, Retros and PI planning.
• Performance Monitoring: Develop dashboards to track team progress and facilitate metric-driven planning and reviews.
• Continuous Improvement: Promote techniques that improve team collaboration, transparency, and overall efficiency, fostering a continuous development environment.
• Tools: Ensure tools used for managing scrum process are a good fit for the teams’ needs, work with teams and leadership to simplify the process and enhance their utility.
• Should be well versed with JIRA and able to use its Automation rules to create rules/notifications to streamline SCRUM process workflows for teams.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Work with stakeholders to identify and resolve anti-patterns that hinder organizational agility.

You’ll thrive in this role if you have the following:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience: At least 3-5 years of direct experience as a Scrum Master, with a strong grasp of Agile practices and the ability to serve as a Scrum Master for multiple teams.
• Certification: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from a recognized institution.
• Agile Knowledge: Profound knowledge of various Agile methodologies, including SAFe and past practicing experience in PI planning.
• Skills: Exceptional coaching, mentoring, situational awareness, and facilitation skills. Effective in process development and delivering impactful communications to leadership.
• Tools: Past experience with Jira. Good understanding of software development practice is preferred.
