Position Overview:

The Data Analytics Consultant will be a pivotal member of the analytics team, responsible for delivering critical insights that drive data-driven decision-making for financial institution clients. This role will focus on performing in-depth analyses, developing actionable recommendations, and leveraging advanced BI tools to transform complex data into meaningful business strategies. The position will also involve managing client-facing analytics deliverables, from developing dashboards to presenting strategic findings.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who thrives on transforming raw data into business intelligence and enjoys working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. You’ll be part of a team that is shaping the future of analytics for financial institutions, where your insights and solutions will have a real impact.

Key Responsibilities:

•Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify trends, evaluate business performance, and provide insights that shape data-driven decisions.
•Manage the entire lifecycle of data: from processing, merging, and transforming to conducting both ongoing and ad hoc analyses.
•Develop and maintain robust analytics dashboards to monitor key performance metrics and provide real-time insights.
•Utilize advanced business intelligence tools to create customized analytics reports and deliverables tailored to client needs.
•Lead client-facing analytics review sessions, presenting findings and providing actionable recommendations to enhance business outcomes.
•Define, design, and deliver innovative analytics solutions, ensuring that clients receive high-value insights that support their strategic goals.
•Maintain adherence to internal standards for work product quality, timeliness, and accuracy.
•Collaborate on internal knowledge-sharing initiatives and participate in professional development and cross-training within the analytics team.
•Develop new reporting and analytics capabilities to support business objectives, including automation and dashboard creation.
•Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expertise in analytical tools and techniques to uncover actionable business insights.
•Translate quantitative data into strategic business recommendations and impactful client presentations.
•Ensure all projects meet quality standards and adhere to the scope of work.

Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or Mathematics is preferred.
•3-5 years of relevant experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data analysis. Experience working at a financial institution is preferred.
•Expert-level skills in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries for data extraction and transformation. Strong skills in Python for data processing, transforming, and manipulation are also preferred.
•High-level proficiency with Power BI, including advanced use of DAX for analytics and reporting.
•Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation.
•Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and present complex data insights to stakeholders.
