Product Manager

OVERVIEW:

We are looking for an innovative and self-driven Product Manager to lead the enhancement of FoxHire’s software solutions and take ownership of the product lifecycle — from research and design to implementation and updates. This role requires close collaboration with the Vice President of Product, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders to drive product initiatives and deliver outstanding user experiences.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Product Ownership & Development: Lead the research, design, and implementation of product updates, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer needs.
  • Collaborative Initiatives: Partner with the Vice President of Product on select product initiatives, including project brainstorming, timeline creation, and coordination with the Development Team to meet deadlines and test completed features.
  • Cross-Functional Communication: Effectively communicate with cross-functional teams, customers, and global staffing organizations to gather feedback and ensure seamless product experiences.
  • Meeting Leadership: Prepare for and lead weekly product update meetings, ensuring all internal team members are informed and aligned.
  • Sales Support: Participate in sales calls to demo our proprietary software, aiding in closing deals and expanding our customer base.
  • Customer Interaction: Facilitate and respond to customer submissions via their portals, ensuring timely and effective support.
  • Quality Assurance: Test new software features and debug issues to continuously improve our product offerings.
  • Expertise & Feedback Gathering: Act as a subject matter expert for our product, engaging with recruiters, contractors, and clients to collect feedback and new feature ideas through biannual Voice of the Customer calls.
  • User Experience Improvement: Monitor user interactions through tools like Mouseflow to identify areas for enhancement in our website and portals.
  • Design Skills: Utilize platforms such as Whimsical and Figma to demonstrate new or updated feature designs, contributing to the overall usability and aesthetics of our product.
  • Metrics & Project Management: Develop metrics to track customer engagement, prioritize projects based on data insights, and manage development priorities using Jira.
  • Training & Adoption: Create training guides and videos to facilitate the adoption of new product features by both internal teams and customers.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2 to 4 year degree preferred or equivalent experience. 
  • 3-5 years of experience in product management, development, or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in project management tools like Jira and design tools like Whimsical and Figma.
  • Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights to improve product performance.
  • A proactive attitude with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.

FoxHire provides Employer of Record (EOR) staffing services, placing workers in temporary “contract” positions throughout the United States. We primarily place technical and high-level professionals such as nurses, therapists, engineers, accountants, programmers, etc. into contract assignments as our W-2 employees. Our in-house team of Human Resources, Contract Administration, Sales, Accounting, and Product Development professionals keep our operations running smoothly from our corporate office in Canton, Ohio. STARTING PAY RANGE FOR THIS POSITION:

$60,000-$70,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. In states with higher minimum salary requirements for exempt positions, compensation will be adjusted to meet local thresholds.
