About Waterplan

Waterplan is a pioneering Series A Y Combinator-backed Climate Tech startup dedicated to accelerating the journey toward a water-secure future. Through our leading B2B Enterprise SaaS platform, we empower companies to understand, respond, report, and monitor their ever-evolving water risk. We help businesses see the tangible benefits of mitigating water risks – fostering a future where organizations are motivated to conserve water and preserve our precious ecosystems.

About the Role

As a Program Manager, you will play a key role in driving the successful delivery of client projects. You will be responsible for managing team capacity, coordinating with Water Advisors regarding work planning and work prioritization, and ensuring we are delivering outputs to clients on time. You will use your expertise in Jira to track progress and manage workflows, while leveraging your people skills to ensure smooth communication and collaboration within the client teams. This role is ideal for someone passionate about the environment and water issues, who thrives in leading teams and managing complex projects in technical fields.

Your Core Focus
  • Lead the planning and execution of Water Advisors and Water Specialists outputs, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.

  • Maintain and update project plans, ensuring they reflect current priorities and team capacity.

  • Manage the Professional Services team’s workload, ensuring optimal resource allocation.

  • Act as the main point of coordination for the Water team, ensuring alignment across different client outputs.

  • Continuously assess and mitigate risks to project timelines and deliverables.

  • Utilize Jira for project tracking, issue management, and workflow optimization.

  • Manage KPIs, and hiring plans, and allocate resources effectively to meet the needs of the team and clients.

Your Profile
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience managing teams of 10+ people in SaaS, consultancy, or early-stage startup environments.
Proven track record in project management or program management roles.

  • Skills: Demonstrated expertise with task management tools like Jira, ClickUp, Asana, or Trello.
    Strong written and verbal communication.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal with cross-functional stakeholders.
Water expertise is a plus, but not mandatory.

  • Mindset: You are relentlessly curious, excited to learn, and committed to making an impact. You thrive in early-stage startup environments, where being resourceful and adaptable is crucial.

  • Passion: Excited about the environment and water issues. You are motivated by working on solutions to complex challenges with broad implications.

  • Background: A degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Previous experience in the Climate Tech space is a plus.

  • Location: Based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

  • Language: Fluency in English is a must.
