Summary

 The Sr. Consultant Engineer main focus is to guarantee that all implementations that he is participating or developing are following the best solution possible for that problem and that the solution can scale indefinitely and doesn’t have any integrity problems.

What you'll do
  • Ensure that the systems that he participates or develops can scale indefinitely and it doesn’t have any integrity problems;
  • Ensure that the staff engineering guidelines and standards is being applied to the current systems;
  • Help others software engineers in any implementation;
  • Identify possible flaws that are present in the current system that were not yet discovered by the teams;
  • Often Participate in implementations that are cross squads;
  • Leads architectural system designs on the most complex systems;
  • Can understand the context of multiple different work streams, and offer effective technical advice and support for those workstreams while still maintaining excellent velocity;
  • Demonstrates high product awareness for areas of the business they are working with. Understands the importance of product-market fit and works closely with product leadership to ensure we’re making the right decisions across one or more squads;
  • Regularly challenges their team or area to have a greater sense of urgency for company priorities. Steps up to lead when required;
  • Able to proactively propose strategy for engineering within their Collective/Discipline, and knows how to effectively get buy in and move this forward;
Minimum Qualifications

  • Desirable experience with observability/metrics;Openapi; Load Testing; Terraform; Devops; Financial Experience;
