We are looking for an experienced, adaptable leader to manage our SWAT Engineering Team, a specialized operational unit focused on urgent, high-priority engineering tasks. In this role, you’ll need to handle a dynamic, fast-paced environment with constantly shifting priorities. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage quick decision-making while fostering a team culture of speed and adaptability.

What You’ll Do:

  • Hire, manage, and mentor a team of Full Stack Engineers, Data Engineers, and Data Analysts dedicated to resolving day-to-day urgent engineering tasks.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and allocate resources to high-impact tasks.
  • Own the processes on your team, ensuring the rapid and high-quality delivery of solutions to meet critical business needs.
  • Ensure smooth coordination of customer-facing changes across technical and non-technical stakeholders, including customer support teams.
  • Regularly communicate and collaborate with senior leadership, including the CEO, to align on immediate priorities and technical directions.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience managing fast-moving, product-oriented engineering teams.
  • 7+ years of experience with React and modern frontend JS technologies.
  • 7+ years of experience with backend development and API design concepts.
  • Strong expertise in building and maintaining operational processes, such as incident management with SLAs and escalations, kanban development, etc.
  • Strong expertise in data analytics, database design, and management, including PostgreSQL or MySQL.
  • A solid grasp of modern software development practices (CI/CD frameworks, Agile methodologies, etc.).
  • Exceptional people skills, including mentoring, scaling teams, and leading through uncertainty.
  • Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Would Be Great If You Have:

  • Experience working with MarTech/AdTech systems.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD systems (e.g., CircleCI, Jenkins, CodeFresh).
  • Experience with GIT for managing release cycles.
