We are currently in search of experienced Legal/Judicial contractors with a robust background in transcribing depositions and hearings. This is a fully remote opportunity tailored for Independent Contractors, offering the flexibility to manage your own schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately transcribe depositions, hearings, and various judicial proceedings.
  • Maintain strict adherence to client-specific style guides and deadlines.
  • Deliver high-quality, verbatim transcripts while processing audio recordings with precision and clarity.

Required Skills

  • Significant experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription.
  • Exceptional listening abilities and outstanding literacy skills, including comprehension, spelling, and grammar.
  • Proficiency in typing speed and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with legal terminology.
  • Capability to collaborate effectively in a remote work environment.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and potentially offensive audio/text content.
  • Candidates must be able to pass a background check.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in legal transcription or court reporting is essential.
