We are currently on the lookout for experienced Legal/Judicial transcription contractors who possess substantial expertise in transcribing depositions and hearings. This role is entirely remote, catering to Independent Contractors seeking flexibility and autonomy in their professional lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transcribe audio recordings from depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings into accurate verbatim transcripts.
  • Maintain strict adherence to established style guides and client-specific deadlines.
  • Exhibit meticulous attention to detail, ensuring clarity and precision in all transcripts.
  • Collaborate with our dedicated in-office team as necessary for guidance and support.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription.
  • Exceptional listening skills and a keen ability to discern spoken content.
  • Strong command of grammar, spelling, and overall literacy.
  • High typing proficiency in both speed and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with legal terminology and concepts.
