We’re backed by Accel, Index, 01A, StepStone Group, and HighlandX growing fast, and are serving some of the most iconic brands in the world.

(Even if you don't see a good fit below, we'd still love to stay in touch. Email us at recruiting@transcend.io).

About The Role

As the Director of Product - Integrations and Sombra at Transcend, you will play a dual role: spearheading our strategic initiative to enhance our integrations product offering, admin dashboard, and Sombra infrastructure while also managing a small team of Product Managers. This position requires a blend of hands-on product management and leadership skills. You'll be directly involved in product development while also guiding your team to improve the user experience and backend reliability of our integrations and admin dashboard, as well as advancing our secure-by-design Sombra infrastructure.

What You'll Do

  • Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Transcend's integrations ecosystem, admin dashboard and Sombra infrastructure
  • Lead and mentor a small team of Product Managers, fostering their growth and ensuring alignment with product and company goals
  • Personally drive the transformation of critical components of our integrations product offering and admin dashboard, enhancing both the user interface and backend reliability
  • Lead the development of new integrations with various data systems, platforms, and third-party services, expanding Transcend's connectivity across diverse data stacks
  • Collaborate closely with UX/UI teams to redesign the integration setup and management interfaces, making them more intuitive and user-friendly
  • Work with engineering teams to implement advanced error handling, monitoring, and self-healing capabilities in our integrations backend
  • Develop and implement strategies to measure and improve key metrics for integrations and admin dashboard usage
  • Ensure improvements in integrations and admin dashboard positively impact other core product areas such as DSR automation, data discovery and classification, and preference management
  • Drive the evolution of Sombra, ensuring it maintains its position as an industry-leading secure-by-design solution for data privacy operations
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of our infrastructure, particularly focusing on Sombra's ability to scan and operate on customer data without compromising privacy
  • Work with customer-facing teams to gather feedback and understand integration challenges, using these insights to inform product decisions
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with technology partners and API providers to enhance our integration capabilities and stay ahead of changes in third-party systems
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for integrations and Sombra, focusing on metrics that demonstrate security, efficiency, and value to customers
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the data privacy and security space
  • Mentor and develop product managers on your team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to effectively communicate the value proposition of our integrations and Sombra to potential customers and partners

Who You Are

  • You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • You have 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years focusing on integrations, infrastructure, or security products in a B2B SaaS environment and at least 2 years of experience managing other product managers
  • You possess a strong technical background with a deep understanding of APIs, data systems, admin tooling, cloud infrastructure, and security principles
  • You have experience working with containerized applications and understand the principles of secure-by-design architecture
  • You have a proven track record of successfully launching and scaling complex technical products, particularly those involving data privacy and security
  • You demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance technical constraints with business objectives
  • You have strong UX sensibilities and experience collaborating with design teams on complex interfaces
  • You have strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • You are comfortable switching between individual contributor and management roles
  • You are passionate about data privacy and security, with a keen interest in staying ahead of regulatory requirements and industry best practices
  • Experience in the data privacy or security domain is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) and their technical implications is a plus
