Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our distinguished Toxic Tort (Asbestos) and Product Liability practice group in our New York City office. This is an exceptional opportunity for an attorney eager to develop their litigation capabilities in a supportive and dynamic environment. You will manage your own caseload while receiving guidance and mentorship from experienced partners in the firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage an assigned caseload with an emphasis on toxic tort and product liability cases.
  • Prepare pleadings, written discovery, motions, and various litigation documents.
  • Perform legal research and provide analysis on intricate legal matters.
  • Conduct depositions and effectively communicate with clients and insurance carriers.
  • Engage in mediations and arbitrations as required.

  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to efficiently multitask and manage competing deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a current and active license to practice law in New York; dual licensure in surrounding states (NJ, PA, CT, or MA) is advantageous.

  • Prior experience in toxic tort cases is preferred, but not essential.
