Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the month-end closing processes, preparing journal entries, and updating both internal and external reporting formats.
  • Work collaboratively with diverse departments to ensure the accurate and timely processing of purchase requisitions and invoices.
  • Manage accounts payable functions, ensuring prompt processing and payment of invoices across all legal entities.
  • Investigate and rectify any payment discrepancies reported by vendors or purchasing agents.
  • Reconcile invoices with purchase orders, identifying discrepancies and making necessary corrections prior to payment.
  • Engage in the PR/PO process to facilitate effective monitoring of requisitions and purchase orders.
  • Oversee employee expense-related tasks, including travel and entertainment expenses, corporate credit card management, and payroll bookings, while supporting external partners like ADP.
  • Assist with staff accounting operations, which encompass 401(k), health insurance, tax invoicing, and declarations.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Effective communication skills for seamless interaction across departments.
  • Proficient in accounting software; familiarity with Microsoft Excel is advantageous.
  • Experience in payroll systems, accounts payable, and vendor management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of pertinent accounting experience.
