Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Long-Term Care & Assisted Living

Job Overview

We are in search of compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) to enhance our team, delivering exceptional care to seniors and individuals facing illnesses, injuries, or chronic conditions. Positions are available in various locations, including Yankton, Irene, Wakonda, Beresford, Marion, Sioux Falls, Brandon, and Brookings.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage in PRN, self-scheduling, and/or contract staffing within long-term care facilities and assisted living environments.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care and assist with essential daily activities, including bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, hygiene, nutritional intake, and more.
• Facilitate ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises for patients.
• Monitor and accurately document vital signs, intake/output, blood glucose levels, and any changes in patient conditions.
• Collaborate effectively with a team of nurse aides and/or medication aides to implement and follow care plans.
• Observe patients and communicate with facility supervisors regarding any necessary modifications to care plans, medications, or medical equipment.
• Undertake additional nursing responsibilities as required.
  
  

Required Skills

• Possession of an active RN license in South Dakota, or eligibility through reciprocity/multi-state.
• Maintenance of required certifications.
• While experience is preferred, it is not mandatory.
• A strong commitment to compassionate patient care and effective communication skills.
  
  

Qualifications

• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience in nursing is highly regarded but not required.

• Competitive hourly compensation ranging from \(45 to \)47+, paid weekly or biweekly.
