Position: IDR Medical Billing Specialist - Remote (WFH)

Overview

We are on the lookout for a meticulous and detail-oriented IDR Medical Billing Specialist to enhance our dedicated team. Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)
  • Determine eligibility for Non-Signatory Agreement (NSA) Open Negotiations and Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR)
  • Ensure compliance with NSA Open Negotiation protocols and deadlines
  • Audit and verify Open Negotiations for accuracy and precision
  • Oversee the submission process for initial Federal IDR cases
  • Record and monitor the progress of accounts in IDR

Required Skills

  • Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to perform efficiently under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with Free Standing Emergency Room operations is highly advantageous

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in medical billing is preferred
  • A foundational understanding of medical billing practices is essential
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; certification in medical billing is a plus

Compensation And Benefits
