Job Title: Corporate Partnerships Account Manager

Location: Austin, Texas, United States

Reporting to: Director of Corporate Partnerships

Work Schedule: Hybrid (Half-time in-office and remote)

Job Overview

We are in search of a proactive and skilled Corporate Partnerships Account Manager to deliver outstanding account management for our esteemed corporate partners. This role will involve close collaboration with our Innovation Council, which comprises some of the largest corporations in the nation, enabling them to define and achieve their innovation business objectives. Key responsibilities include facilitating startup introductions, branding engagements, corporate relationship enhancement, strategic planning, and curating VIP event experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Management: Act as the principal contact for clients, adeptly guiding them through our extensive network of opportunities and navigating complex organizational structures to understand their goals and metrics for success.
  • Relationship Development: Build and nurture strong relationships with accounts by coordinating interactions with various internal teams, including Venture, Partnerships, VIP, Events, and Venue teams.
  • Revenue Enhancement: Identify and introduce further engagement or sponsorship opportunities within our organization to secure additional investments and drive annual event sponsorships of $100k or more.
  • Strategic Oversight: Conduct snapshot reviews and lead annual strategy discussions with accounts to maximize the value derived from their memberships.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Partner with the marketing team to develop press releases and success stories that highlight client and portfolio partnership achievements.
  • Performance Tracking: Ensure an over 80% renewal rate for accounts, achieve high Promoter NPS scores (9-10) from clients, and guarantee timely contract renewals and client payments.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in enterprise-level sales or account management.
  • Proficient in navigating large corporate structures and understanding their internal dynamics.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service abilities.
  • Adaptability in dynamic and changing environments.
  • Technical proficiency with Google productivity tools, Slack, and Asana.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Previous experience in managing enterprise-level accounts, particularly with large corporations.
