Marketing Specialist - Remote Position

Overview

We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team. This remote position allows for collaboration from anywhere while requiring in-office presence in our modern Chicago headquarters four days a week, with the flexibility to work from home on Fridays. The ideal candidate will begin their career with us in early January 2025, as we look to expand our marketing efforts and enhance our brand visibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison for all content and marketing initiatives, collaborating closely with our vertical leaders.
  • Develop and manage marketing collateral, supporting our sales and recruitment teams in enhancing communication strategies.
  • Create engaging content for various platforms, including our website, blog, and email campaigns.
  • Oversee event logistics, including registration management and coordination of marketing materials.
  • Maintain an active presence on social media, ensuring engagement and responsiveness.
  • Regularly update marketing materials and event calendars for accuracy and organization.
  • Assist with the execution of paid media campaigns and identify additional projects to strengthen our marketing objectives.

Required Skills

  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing or related fields like communications, research, or public relations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with proficient proofreading abilities.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and a working knowledge of WordPress, HubSpot, Google Analytics, Salesforce, and SEO principles is advantageous.
  • A customer-centric approach and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
