Our team has been working together for 10+ years, previously starting and selling Cloud Academy Inc. in the US - one of the largest and most successful e-learning tech platforms in the world. We are tech and product experts that love to build unique, global products in the skill enrichment and training world.


Anthropos is our way of reimagining the connection between individuals and companies as both parties adapt to a new way of working. Our company is US based with a Swiss subsidiary and we are building and growing the Anthropos team across the two continents.


We are currently looking the first Account Executive to kick off our US sales team. In this role you will work alongside our EMEA sales team and our founders to launch our US sales operations and acquire our first US customers. This is something our team is familiar with and have successfully achieved before: we are looking for someone that is passionate about our space, wants to grow quickly and isn't scared of prospecting and cold outreach to medium and large enterprises across multiple industries, including consulting, tech, pharma, banking and manufacturing.


Tasks

As Founding Account Executive you will spend 90% of your time on prospecting and outreach with a curated list of target accounts. You will be supported by our founders and EMEA sales team in landing and closing your first deals.


Outbound: we expect regular weekly cold calling (150+ calls/week), email outreach (200+ messages per week) across a variety of channels starting with a list of target accounts.



  • Constantly find and refine target accounts: we will help you start here but we expect you to then own and refine your top list of prospects following our inputs and what you learn in the market.

  • Demo our product and become an expert: you will regularly demo our product and you will need to learn everything about it. You will be constantly supported by our team but we expect you to be able to present Anthropos and answer almost every product question related to it.

  • Manage the full sales cycle: we expect you to manage the full sales cycle, including renewals and expansions.

  • Be solution and problem focused: we expect someone that understands how important and critical it is to sell a solution to problems and not just software. At Anthropos we help our customers map and build skills to transform their businesses: we obsess about helping our customers succeed with that.


Requirements

The main requirement we look for is grit. Sales is hard and selling in a startup is even harder, but you will find a very supportive and experienced environment, so if you are ready for a challenge and for a lot of growth we will help you be very successful in this role.

Tech Savvy: You are comfortable with technology, able to discuss and utilize tech tools confidently.


Sales Experience: You have 3-4 years of sales experience with a proven track record of meeting quotas through outbound efforts. References and demonstrated results, including a list of closed customers and quarterly sales achievements, are a must. Our preference are candidates that have sold both in startups (Seed - Series A) and medium/large corporates.


Travel: we expect you to travel to visit prospects and customers when/if needed. Our founders will often join you and work side by side with you to close deals.


Financial Motivation: You are motivated by financial success and are eager to make significant earnings by selling Anthropos in the US market.


Strong Ambition: You possess a high level of ambition and are looking for more than just a job. You aim for career growth and substantial achievements.


Curiosity: you are naturally curious, love asking a lot of questions and are interested in learning more about people and businesses you meet daily.


Independent: you are a self-starter, you figure things out and don't wait for people to tell you what to do. This is vital in a founding position such as this one.
