Job Overview

Nannies + More International is thrilled to present a remarkable opportunity for a Professional Governess/Nanny based in Houston, Texas. This role is tailored for a dedicated individual who will provide care and educational support for two children aged 9 and 12 in a nurturing and professional family environment.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee homeschooling for the 9-year-old who has a sensory processing disorder.
Facilitate homework assistance and after-school activities for the 12-year-old.
Prepare breakfast and ensure the children’s study areas remain organized and tidy.
Transport children to and from school and extracurricular activities.
Adhere to current CDC guidelines regarding COVID safety protocols.

Required Skills

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a governess or in a private home setting.
Ability to develop engaging and creative curriculum tailored to children’s needs.
Strong organizational skills and proven multi-tasking abilities.
Experience with Montessori educational methods is advantageous.
Fluent in English with excellent judgment and reliability.

Qualifications

Must be eligible to work in the U.S. or be a U.S. citizen.
Educational qualifications relevant to childcare and education, with a preference for candidates who are experienced teachers.
Requires at least three professional references and three character references, alongside a clear background check.
