Duties: Okta is seeking a Data Analyst to the Engineering Operations team. The ideal candidate has a passion for translating data into meaningful insights, ability to identify invalid data, while ensuring data accuracy and consistency. This person thrives in ambiguity, is energized by a fast-paced work environment and can comfortably juggle a diverse array of responsibilities. The core focus for this assignment will be on: Incident management reporting.

Responsibilities

Data Collection, Cleaning and Processing:

Assist in gathering, cleaning, and organizing datasets from various sources.

Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.

Data Analysis

Utilize statistical methods and data visualization tools to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in the data.

Utilize SQL to manipulate data.

Reporting And Visualization

Generate reports and visualizations to communicate data insights.

Contribute to the creation of dashboards in Tableau and Jira for various stakeholders.

Documentation

Document data analysis processes, findings, and recommendations.

Maintain organized records of datasets and analyses.

Skills

Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.

Proficient in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, JQL).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy.

Strong expertise with Tableau server

Strong expertise with Jira
